STRATEGY

Our strategy is:

• to conduct and synthesize intensive and long-term scientific and natural history research in the study of species that are considered special by scientists, land managers and local communities;

• to present our findings in broadly accessible formats - including: scientific, technical and narrative reports, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), digital video, slide shows and the Internet; and

• to provide exceptional learning opportunities for scientists and naturalists of all ages through volunteer programs, creating projects for higher education, and organizing and attending educational symposia.
